Xochiquetzal

Central American - An Aztec fertility-goddess and goddess of childbirth, craftsmen and flowers. Sister of Xochipilli. Wife of Cinteotl, Mixcoatl or Tlaloc. Wife of Coxcox or Xochipilli, some say. In some accounts, she was the queen of a paradise for those killed in battle. Some say that she was the wife of Tlaloc and that she was abducted by Tezcatlipoca who fell in love with her. Sometimes known as Xochiquetzal, Flower Feather, Flower Feather, Tlacolteotl, Tlacolteotl, Tlazolteotl, Itzcuinan, Itzcuinan, Tlalli-iyollo or Tlalli-iyollo.
