Urpi-huachac

South American - A Quechua fish-goddess. She had two daughters by Pachacamac. Coniraya called at her house when she was away and slept with one of the daughters and would have done the same with the other but she turned into a pigeon and flew away. Coniraya then took the fish out of Urpihuachac's pond and threw them into the sea where they became the ancestors of all fish. In some lore, occasionally called Urpi-huachac.
