Teotleco Festival

Central American - An Aztec festival celebrating the return of the gods. It was said that all the gods went away in the twelfth month so a festival was laid on for their return. It was heralded by the appearance of Tezcatlipoca on about the eighteenth day of the month with the remainder following on the last day. Sometimes called Teotleco Festival, Coming of the Gods or Coming of the Gods.
