Japanese - A Shinto creator god. One of the 5 Separate Heavenly Deities. One of the Eight Imperial Deities. Grandfather of Ninigi. He formed ten men from mud, breathed life into them and then turned one of them into a warrior. He sent Ninigi to earth to quell the unrest in Idzumo and later threw back the arrow fired by Waka-Hiko, killing him. At times, referred to as Takamimusubi, Taka-gi-no-kami, Taka-gi-no-kami, Taka-Mi-Musubi, Taka-Mi-Musubi, Zoka-no-sanshin, Zoka-no-sanshin, Kamimusubi or Zoka-no-kami.
