Egyptian - A god of the underworld. The Greek version of Osir-Apis, the combination of Osiris and Apis. Consort of Isis. Serapis was the state god during the Greek occupation. He is depicted as having curly hair and beard, sometimes with a dog at his feet, or as a bearded, human-headed serpent.
