Rukmini

Hindu - Daughter of Bhismaka. Sister of Rukmin. A wife of Krishna or Knitarajasa. Mother of Badricharu, Charumati and Pradyumna. Rukmini came to earth when Vishnu appeared as the avatar Krishna. Her brother tried to force her into marriage with the demon, Shishupala, but Krishna abducted her from the wedding feast and married her. When he died, she immolated herself on his funeral pyre. She is regarded as an incarnation of Lakshmi.
