Robin Goodfellow

English - A brownie: Puck. Son of Oberon, in some accounts. In early tales of Robin Goodfellow he was the son of a maiden and a male fairy and ran away from home, waking up one morning, after dreaming that his father was a fairy, to find a scroll beside him. This scroll told him how to use his magic powers for good rather than for evil. One of these powers was the ability to change into any animal. In later years, he was regarded as a household brownie which, if suitably rewarded, will do household chores. Occasionally referred to as Robin Goodfellow, Puck or Puck.
