Rinda

East Indian - Wife of Demong. Also known as Rinda.
Norse - Daughter of Billing. Third wife of Odin. Mother of Vali. She rejected the advances of Odin when he appeared first as victorious general, then as the craftsman, Rosterus, and finally as a handsome young man, so Odin put her under a spell and then appeared as an old crone, Vak, the only person able to break the spell. He carried her off, bound hand and foot, and forced her to become his wife. In some accounts, called Rinda.
