Red Hawk

North American - An Apache warrior. He bet his friend White Hawk that he could seduce the latter's wife and, although he failed, he persuaded White Hawk that he had succeeded. The angry husband locked his wife in a chest and threw it in the river from which she was rescued by a fisherman. When she was finally restored to her husband, she had Red Hawk and an old woman who had helped him torn apart by wild horses. Occasionally called Red Hawk.
