Pylas

Greek - A king of Megara. Father of Pylia. Father of Sciron, in some accounts. He gave shelter to Pandion when he was driven from Athens and gave him his daughter, Pylia, for a wife. He was himself exiled when he killed his uncle, Bias, and Pandion then became king of Megara. Pylas founded a kingdom of the same name but was driven out by Neleus who had himself been expelled from Iolcus by his brother Pelias. In some lore, occasionally known as Pylas, Pylos, Pylos, Pylus or Pylus.
