Greek - One of the Argonauts. Son of Thaumacus. Husband of Demonassa. Father of Philoctetes. In one story he is said to have killed the bronze giant, Talos, with an arrow. Others say that it was he, rather than Philoctetes who applied the torch to Heracles' funeral pyre and was rewarded with the hero's bow and arrows. Also commonly referred to as Poeas, Poias or Poias.
