Roman - A god of marriage. Brother of Pilumnus. He was one of three deities present at the birth of a child to ward off any advances by Silvanus. He ground the grain while Intercidona chopped wood and Deverra did the sweeping. In some accounts, he is the same as Picus. Occasionally referred to as Picumnus, Picus, Picus, 'woodpecker', Sterculius, Sterculius, Stercutus or Sterquilinius.
