Greek - Son of Nauplius by Clymene or Hesione. Brother of Nausimedon and Palamedes. Bitter at the unjust execution of his brother Palamedes at Troy, Oeax, who survived the war, told Clytemnestra that Agamemnon was bringing back Cassandra as a concubine, so precipitating much of what followed when Agamemnon finally returned to Greece.
