Alako

The god of the gypsies. He was known as Dundia, son of the supreme god, and was sent to earth to instruct the gypsies in the secret lore. Afterwards he returned to his home in the heavens and was known as Alako. In some references, referred to as Alako, Dundra or Dundra.

Asbjornsen, Peter Christen

(1812-1885). An author who wrote on folklore and comparative mythology. Occasionally identified as Asbjornsen, Peter Christen.

kraken

A sea-monster which pulled ships to the sea-bottom. It was said to be one and a half miles in circumference. In some lore, occasionally identified as kraken, krabben, krabben, Sykraken, Sykraken or Kraken.
