Misenus

Greek - A Trojan, trumpeter to Aeneas. He was a companion of Hector who escaped with Aeneas at the fall of Troy. He died on the long voyage that took the escapees to a new home in Italy. Some say that he was drowned by one of the Tritons who was jealous of his prowess as a trumpeter. Occasionally called Misenus.
