Greek - Daughter of Latinus and Amata. Second wife of Aeneas. Amata tried to keep her daughter for Turnus by hiding her in the woods but she eventually married Aeneas, just as had been prophesied before the arrival of the Trojans in Italy. In some accounts she was the daughter of Evander, in some the wife of Hercules. In some references, identified as Lavinia.
