Koshin

Japanese - A god of roads. On the fifty-seventh day of the sixtyday cycle, monkey-day, the three worms which live in all people ascend to heaven when the individual is asleep, to report on that person's behaviour. On this day, Koshin acts as guardian to the individual. In some references, known as Koshin, Sanshi-taisho, Sanshi-taisho, Koshin, koshin, Three Mystic Apes, Three Mystic Apes or Mystic Apes.
