Japanese - A guardian-god, one of the Shi Tenno. He was responsible for guarding the south. In some accounts, he was one of the twenty-eight Nijuhachi-Bushu and was originally a demon who converted to Buddhism. Occasionally called Komoku, Chinese Tseng Chang, Chinese Tseng Chang, Virudka, Hindu Virudka, Hindu Virudka, Tseng Chang, Buddhist Virudhaka, Buddhist Virudhaka, Virulak, Taoist Mo-li Hung or Taoist Mo-li Hung.
