New Zealand - A Maori fisherman. He is said to have taught his people how to make and fish with nets, an art he had learned when he caught a group of fairies net-fishing by night. In some accounts, known as Kahukura, Rongo, Rongo, Orongo, Te Rongo, Rong-ma Tane, Rongo-Maui, Hawaiian Lono, Marquesas Ono, Samoan Lo'o or Rongomatane.
