The story of the outlaw, Hoder. Sometimes identified as Hardar Saga, Harthar Saga or Harthar Saga.


A water-spirit. These beings sometimes appeared in the form of a horse. When anybody mounted, the horse would gallop back into the sea, drowning the rider. Called nykr, Norse nix or Norse nix.


The Icelandic version of Scyld. Father of Bele. Called Skate.
