Hatim Tay

Arabian - A king, famous for his generosity. He was said to have ruined himself by slaughtering his camels and horses to feed guests. In one story, he went in search of another's bride who had been carried off by a demon, found them and killed the maiden's captor. In some lore, occasionally called Hatim Tay, Hatim T'ai or Hatim T'ai.
