Hindu - Daughter of Subala. Wife of Dhartarashthra. Mother of the Kauravas and Duhsala. The sage, Vyasa, granted her wish for 100 sons. Her pregnancy produced a lump of flesh which Vyasa cut into 101 pieces, sealing each in a jar. In due course, the girl Duhsala and 100 boys were born. Also known as Gandhari.
