Fursa

Irish - A saint. Son of Fintan. In a vision, he was guarded by three angels but was burnt on his shoulders and face by the fires of evil. He preached for some time in Ireland, carrying the faith thence to England and to Europe. He swapped his own ailments for those of his friend Maighniu, receiving a reptile which lived in Fura's stomach and gave him a voracious appetite. In some references, called Fursa.
