Japanese - A form of Kwannon. In this form, the goddess is depicted with two, four or six arms, seated on a lotus, and is sometimes shown with three faces each of which has three eyes. Identified as Fuku-kensaku, Kwannon, Kwannon, Avalokiteshvara, Kannon, Kannon-sama, sacred birds, Bato, Chu-jo Hime, Jiu-ichi-men-Kwannon, Juichimen, Jundei, Kannon(-sama), Nyoirin, Senjiu, Sho(tuku), Buddhist Avalokiteshvara or Chinese Kuan Yin.
