Greek - Son of Polymestor and Ilione. Ilione's young brother (or nephew), Polydorus, was sent to stay at the court of Polymestor for safety during the siege of Troy. When Polymestor planned to kill the boy for the treasure that he had brought with him, Ilione substituted her own son, Deipylus, who was killed by his own father. Sometimes referred to as Deipylus.
