Greek - The herald for Eurystheus. Son of Pelops. Father of Periphetes. He killed Iphitus and fled to Mycenae where Eurystheus purified him. Eurystheus was the king for whom Heracles performed the Twelve Labours. He was so frightened of Heracles that he employed Copreus as a go-between to relay his instructions. In some accounts, identified as Copreus.
