Irish - Son of Iarbanel or, some say, of Nemed. Father of Ibath and Ibcan. He is generally regarded as a grandson of Nemed, one of three who split Ireland between them after the defeat of the Fomoire. When the Nemedians were driven from Ireland he led his group to the northern islands of Greece, and their descendants later returned to Ireland as the Danaans. Called Beothach, Beotac or Beotac.
