Asherah

Canaanite - A Canaanite mother-goddess and sea-goddess. Mother of the gods. Wife of El. Mother of Ashtar and Shachar. In some accounts she is Anat as 'Lady of the Sea'. Some accounts distinguish between Asherah, a Ugaritic mother-goddess who was the mother and wife of Baal, and Asherah, a Canaanite mothergoddess. Others regard Athira as a separate deity. Sometimes known as Asherah, Atirat, Atirat, Canaanite Asertu, Ilat, Ilat, Lady of Byblos, Lady of Byblos, Asherah, Hathor, Mother of the Gods, Mother of the Gods, Dôn, Neith, Teteoinnan, Don, Tetetoinnan, Queen of the Sea, Queen of the Sea or Asherah.
