South American - A bird woman in the lore of the Incas. Sister of Torito. Two brothers who escaped the flood came back to their hut one day to find food and drink already prepared. The elder brother watched and discovered that Aqua and Torito were responsible, but were frightened when they saw him and failed to return for some time. When they did come back, the younger brother trapped one of the bird-women and she lived with him for a long time, bearing a number of children who became the ancestors of the Canaris tribe. Occasionally identified as Aqua.
