Greek - A priest at Delos. Son of Apollo and Rhoeo. Husband of Dorippa. His three daughters (the Oenotropoe, Elais, Oeno and Spermo) had been given by Dionysus the power to produce corn, oil and wine at will, and so he was easily able to provide food for the Greek fleet assembled at Aulis for the assault on Troy, and later during the siege of that city. In some accounts his wife was Dryope. In some accounts, identified as Anius.
