Aegle

Greek - One of the Heliades. Daughter of Helius and Clymene. Sister of Phaeton. She and her sisters, Lampetia and Phaetusa, were turned into poplar (or pine) trees as they grieved at the death of their brother Phaeton. In some accounts she is called Phoebe. Referred to as Aegle, Aigle, Aigle, Aegle, Aegle, Phoebe, Phoebe, Artemis or Selene.
